Wait--wasn't the previous shade a No. 209? Yes it was! I told you it was a very popular shade. Enough so that there are different versions of it and all are original Aladdin Whip-o-lite shades.
The No. 209-brown log cabin shade was around until at least 1943 but this No. 209-tan shade appeared in literature in 1947.
To complicate things a little further another version of the log cabin shade the No. 209-variegated appeared in sales literature in 1949. Variegated of course, meaning the scene consisted of several colors.
Like I said before, it was a very popular shade and there are at least three original versions of it. There are also reproductions of it as well.
